Too many people in this world resist Jesus because Christian portray the religious Jesus rather than the authentic Jesus.

In Acts 15:5 we read that “some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, “The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the law of Moses” which made Peter respond to the Pharisee in verse 10 “why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear?”.

The church cannot be more Godly …than Jesus and forbid people to drink wine when Jesus Himself turned water to wine in John chapter 2 and told His disciples in Matthew 26:29 “I will not drink wine again until the day I drink it new with you in my Father’s Kingdom”. We cannot forbid people to wear gold when in Matthew 2:11 we read that the wise men “opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh”, the very thing that we forbid people to wear.
